Resplendence Las Campanas

Grace and elegance abound in this one-of-a-kind home christened Resplendence, winner of the 2025 AIA New Mexico General Design Excellence Award. Encompassing a rich palette of finishes and materials, including stone, stucco, steel, wood, concrete, and tile, the four-bedroom, five-bath structure organically blends both natural and human-made elements into a warm and cohesive space, with no detail overlooked.

The home’s size and presence are apparent immediately when entering the property via the Belgard paver driveway, heated to melt snow and ice for seasonal comfort and safety. Regal entry stone columns, stone chimney masses capped with steel, and plate metal fascia completes the architectural detailing and aesthetic.

A covered passageway through a custom steel entry gate serves as the main entrance to the home, pulling in natural light through punctuated circular skylights carved into the Alaskan yellow cedar ceiling. The first stop is a peaceful, private inner courtyard, where a serene reflective pond with a granite-wall water feature sits prominently by the handcrafted 6-foot-wide steel pivot entry door. The space is well appointed for entertaining
with a large-screen television, a cast white concrete firepit, and custom seating. Additional cast white concrete benches add to the ambience and comfort, as does a landscaped central garden adjacent to a built-in firewood storage encased in stone. Two guest bed-
rooms with ensuite baths are accessed from here. There are also several entrances into the main home, allowing for privacy yet an easy connection to the primary quarters.

Inside the main home, both the primary and additional guest bedroom are softly lit against stone backdrops and glowing fireplaces, giving a cozy feel to the overall ambience. The kitchen, butler’s pantry, bathrooms, media room, office, and wet bar have custom German-made Leicht cabinetry and built-ins. Every detail is bespoke, including furnishings, lighting, and accessories. The kitchen takes center stage, setting the tone for elegance and refined living throughout the great room’s dining and living areas, in addition to the breathtaking bar, which showcases extensive wine and glass collections.

The outdoor portal and recreational space are casual yet a refined likeness to the interior, with well-appointed entertaining areas in addition to an elevated chef’s kitchen, pool, jetted spa, and lounging area, overlooking the desirable Club at Las Campanas Sunrise Golf Course.
