Facing the dramatic Jemez Mountains backdrop, and bordering on 68,000 unobstructed acres of the Bureau of Land Management, the Casita/Pool House delivers sensational mountain sunsets, illuminated by the natural landscape of wild flowers and grasses.  This special space provides every creative comfort, creating an endless sense of peace and tranquility.

Designed in the Mid-Century Modern vernacular ‘form follows function’ this exquisite Casita/Pool House, replicated to complement the primary residence (See Tranquility Project), presents with clean rectilinear lines, sloping roofs, and organic use of materials.  Incorporating steel, stone and stucco, with deeply etched endless sheets of glass, the structure delivers a seamless indoor/outdoor flow.

The casual and functional interior open floorplan, blends drywall ceiling and walls, porcelain tile floors and recessed ceiling lighting, organically fusing the space. Encapsulated in the 1380 heated sq. ft, includes a great room with contemporary Ikea Kitchen and dining island, guest bedroom with ensuite bath and office with multi-use ensuite bath, having access to the pool area and laundry room with generous storage.

The center of activity is the expansive outdoor living space, running the full length of the structure.  Deep portals provide protective covering, while showcasing a sleek 42’ lap pool, adjoined by an 8’ x 8’ luxurious soaking hot tub, in addition to a well-appointed chef’s kitchen with grill, stovetop and pizza oven.  Several cozy gathering areas, including one with a custom circular stone firepit, complete the atmosphere, delivering a total outdoor, seasonal living experience.  Whether the occasion be quiet and leisurely or lively and playful, it exudes pure, intoxicating enjoyment.
